Water Polo
Welcome to the Champion High School Aquatics Program!
The Champion program is one of the premier high school aquatics programs in the state of Texas. Our program year after year is competing in swimming, diving, and water polo at the highest levels in UIL sports. We are excited to have you in our program. With the arrival of the Boerne ISD Aquatic Center we can accommodate more students and can offer more opportunities to compete for our athletes. Below is everything you need to become a member of our Charger Aquatic program.
1st things 1st. We want you to play water polo. Some of our very best swimmers participate and contribute to our water polo program. Some swimmers do not play water polo. All water polo players WILL at least train for swimming after water polo is over. Swimming is obviously a very important component of water polo.
We want you ready to go in AUGUST. Sitting around all summer is not a good idea. There is club water polo and club swimming for you. Come in ready to go. The first time you touch a ball in June, July and August should not be at our first practice.
