2026-27 Course Selection
Counselors will be coming into English Classes to meet with students individually. During this time, we will discuss course selections, 4-year planning and answer any questions students may have. Students need to keep the yellow Course Worksheet and turn it into their English teacher on January 21 so counselor will have it for the individual meetings.
- Freshman Meeting Dates: January 27, 28, 29, 30
- Sophomore Meeting Dates: February 10, 11, 12, 13
- Junior Meeting Dates: February 3, 4, 5, 6

Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT)
Boerne ISD partners with TCHATT to provide free telemedicine programs to children and adolescents. If you are interested in TCHATT services for your child, contact his/her counselor.
What you say in the counseling office stays in the counseling office.
In order to build a relationship and trust with students, what is discussed in individual counseling remains confidential.
What information needs to be told to parents, other helping professionals, and/or school officials?
Situations involving:
• Harm to yourself
• Harm to other people
• Pregnancy
• Threats to school safety
• Information requested by a valid subpoena (Court System)
The Texas Youth Helpline
The Texas Youth Helpline provides free and confidential services to youth, their parents, and other family members of youth in crisis who need help finding a counselor, safe shelter, legal information, other local referral information, or just someone to talk to.
